In this week’s episode of Cut To The Chase, my co-host Diego Traglia and I talk about how to get buyers ready to buy at auction.
In a hot market, you’re either going to win, or you’re going to help someone else win. To buy at auction doesn’t have to be difficult, in fact it can be a bloody blast. Watch above and read below to find out how.
The language you use is so important, and in a dynamic market such as the one today it’s even more so. Empower your buyers, have a conversation about strategies and create a plan. Show strength and make sure your buyers know all of the rookie mistakes to avoid.
Sure, sometimes you will simply some up against better money. Spending that time before the auction with your buyers to talk through all possible points and strategies will set you both up for success, whether that be at this home or another. In the end, you double the chances of getting paid and your buyer will secure their dream home.
Aaron Auction Advice #1487
We respect an auto bidder. Show strength and intimidate other bidders by simply sticking your hand up and keep it up there. This shows, or gives at least the impression to other bidders that money isn’t an issue for you. They will feel intimidated and will feel less inclined to go higher if it looks like it doesn’t make a jot of difference to you! A simple action with big results for your buyer to buy at auction.
