What was the last thing that made you laugh?
My youngest daughter Payton who just turned 7. She has the quirkiest humour and is so cheeky!
What motivated you to become a Real Estate Agent?
After 8 years in the New Zealand Police I decided to venture into an area where I had a genuine strong interest which was real estate. I had worked in sales for many years prior to joining the NZ Police, so the transition into real estate was quite comfortable. Reading situations, dealing with people from all walks of life and negotiating calmly in sometimes stressful situations on a daily basis in the NZ Police definitely has helped.

It was taken at my 40th birthday party at the beginning of 2021 in January. It was a dress up costume party where the whole family dressed up as ‘The Flintstones’.
What is an unknown fact about you?
Under this suit I am heavily tattooed. I have also climbed a pyramid in Egypt and attended Oktoberfest in Germany. Probably the weirdest fun I’ve ever had was attending La Tomatina in Valencia, Spain. So much fun was had!!
Tell us about your most memorable house sale/campaign in your career so far?
Two really come to mind. My first ever list & sell when I started in real estate in Papakura, a cute little brick and tile property. The other would be the first property I listed with Harcourts when I went out on my own. In fact it was an Auction campaign. It resulted in a brought forward auction where the vendors were so over the moon with the result! Both weren’t million dollar listings but they have meant a lot to me in my career to date!
What is your favourite thing about auctions?
That they can truly be life changing for our vendors & also the transparency of the auction process!
I hand you microphone, you’re up for karaoke – which song do you choose?
Either a good ACDC banger or a good pub song that everyone knows and will join in!!
Lastly – and arguably most importantly – if I invite you to a barbecue at my place, what are you bringing?
Some marinated chicken nibbles or flavoured chicken steaks are my favourite…love chicken!
